Jeff helps clients pursue their life goals through careful advice, astute investment management, and access to the global capabilities of Wells Fargo and Company. He serves as Principal and head of executive management committees of the practice to directly engage with Quillion's most valued client relationships.
Jeff began his career in 1997 with Merrill Lynch where he developed one of the firm's most admired practices. After nearly 20 years, Jeff elected to create an independent practice focused simply on his clients' needs. Jeff currently maintains FINRA series 6,7,9, 66 Securities Registrations, as well as Maryland Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
Jeff attended Calvert Hall High School (MD) and graduated from Mount St. Mary's University (MD) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Richard J. Bolte School of Business where he captained the Mount's Division I NCAA soccer team and played internationally with the Olympic Development Program. He currently serves as a treasurer and officer of the schools non-profit Soccer Foundation and as a Member of the University's Presidential Council.
Jeff and his family are strongly committed to charity and community. He continues to serve the community through involvement with Habitat for Humanity, Maryland Special Olympics, Calvert Hall Alumni Soccer Foundation, and Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC). Previously, Jeff served as a board member on the Partnership Board of the United Way and as a coach for the Maryland Olympic Development Boys soccer program.
He lives in Western Howard County with his wife, Erin, and their son and daughter.
Doug has been a trusted, industry-leading Wealth Manager since 1993 and today, leverages the global capabilities of the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network to deliver continued advice and guidance to Quillion’s clients. He is one of the founding Partners of the practice and serves as a member of Quillion’s Executive Management Committee.
Since 1998, Doug has been a Wealth Manager whose focus is to create broadly diverse portfolios for affluent clients and manage them through a defined process. He prides himself on always putting the client first as his primary goal. Doug takes over two decades of battle-tested experience to construct portfolios designed to withstand varying market conditions. Doug’s investment planning leverages active management across strategic and tactical allocations. Doug focuses his efforts on providing financial services for executives and retirees from Fortune 500 companies as well as U.S. Government employees and contractors.
Doug received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the United State Naval Academy. He served 8 years in the Business Financial Services of the Naval Supply Corps which included two deployments to the Persian Gulf in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Doug had the honor of serving his last four years in the Navy as a Financial Advisor on the United States Naval Academy Staff located in Annapolis, Maryland where he received an end of tour award for his gallant work efforts. After his service, Doug earned his MBA from the Robert Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore. Currently, he maintains a Series 7, 63, 65, and 31 registrations as well as Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
In his personal time, Doug regularly attends collegiate football games at his Alma Mater, the U.S. Naval Academy and his home team, Michigan. Along with coaching youth sports for his kids, Doug is also actively engaged in his communities and their respective charitable organizations around his homes in Severna Park, MD and Bethany Beach, DE.
David Brandeen has worked in the investment management industry since 1998. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy and his MBA in finance from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech. David served six years in the naval service, primarily as a naval aviator, and in a support role was assigned to SEAL Team One.
After serving in the Navy, David spent several years as a government and telecom consultant for KPMG, Peat Marwick, and Bell Atlantic. David’s areas of focus include selecting and overseeing the investment managers, evaluating asset allocation strategies, and managing client relationships. Dave also serves on the practice's investment strategy team.
As the Branch Manager and a Founding Partner of Quillion Wealth Management, Dean provides comprehensive and extensive investment, retirement and legacy planning to select high net worth and Fortune 500 clients. For over two decades, Dean has helped his clients address their financial goals and develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience navigating major shifts in the markets, Dean has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.
Dean began his career in 1996 as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney in Baltimore, Maryland where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge. From 1999 until 2005, he worked with Morgan Stanley in Annapolis, Maryland where he further honed his skills and expertise. He then worked with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch from April 2005 until June 2015. During that time, Dean was the designated broker for the Bank of America Private Bank where he worked exclusively with high net worth clients regarding legacy planning, “Rule 144” restricted stock option exercises and sales of publicly traded corporate stock for executives.
In June 2015, Dean and three of his associates at Merrill Lynch decided to start their own practice within Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network to concentrate on servicing the needs of retirees and executives of Fortune 500 companies. Dean maintains FINRA series 7, 9, 10, 63, 65 registrations and Maryland Life and Health licenses.
Dean has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and lives in Gambrills, Maryland with his wife, Heidi, their two daughters and Dixie, their Jack Russell.

Mike earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park with a dual major in Economics and Government and Politics. To further his education, Mike earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.
Mike is passionate about helping people and organizations to succeed. He and his family serve and participate annually in various children’s charity events. Mike also participates in efforts to distribute goods for the Maryland Food Bank.
Mike lives in Ellicott City with his wife Ashley and their two sons, Michael and Joseph. He is an active member of the Forest Hill Swim and Tennis Club. In addition, Mike enjoys participating in his sons’ athletics as a coach. When he is not active with his children, Mike enjoys golfing and is an advanced certified SCUBA diver.

Prior to joining the Quillion team, Thomas was an industry leader at CNL Securities where he educated financial professionals on the complexities of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Realizing that his true passion was educating investors and working with people, Thomas joined Ameriprise Financial in 2014. During his time there, he was a financial advisor. Thomas currently holds a series 7, 63, 65 registrations and Maryland Life and Health Insurance License.
Thomas graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Corporate Communications and a minor in Business Administration. He served as President of the Interfraternity Council and was inducted to the College’s Hall of Leaders. Currently, Thomas is a member of the board for Re-Entry, a non-profit organization that connects local business leaders and international students from their native countries. Thomas, an avid golfer, lives in the historic Fells Point neighborhood with his partner Allison, son Holden, and their chocolate lab, Halsey.
Judy is a seasoned veteran of financial services and is sensitive to the needs of clients she’s known for years. Prior to joining Quillion Wealth Management, Judy had worked for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch for a combined 28 years. She proudly handles a range of transactional and administrative roles and responsibilities. Judy’s especially helpful in serving as a liaison between clients and specialists throughout Quillion. Judy holds Series 7 and 66 registrations.
A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Judy graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies. While in college, she was the editor of the school’s Journal of International Affairs. Today, Judy and her husband, Kurt, live in Baltimore City where Judy enjoys Wednesday night sailboat racing and spends her free time bringing support and shelter to homeless cats in the area.
Valerie is an experienced wealth manager with over 22 years of experience. She assists clients as they navigate their personal investments and finances. Her primary focus as part of the Quillion Team is actively directing clients investible assets and serving as part of Quillion's Investment Strategy Team. She specializes in creating streams of income for investors and concentrates her efforts on preservation of wealth.
After completing her Economics degree at University of Maryland Baltimore County, Valerie earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® Designation from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania. She began her career at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.
Valerie is originally from Belair, Maryland but currently resides in Baltimore City as part of the Federal Hill Community where she is active with BARCS and The National Alzheimer's Association.
As a veteran of the finance industry, Annette specializes in servicing current client requests and directing them throughout the Quillion client process. She supports multiple functions of the teams day-to-day business activities, specifically team strategy. Annette brings over twenty years of experience from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch where she held support and leadership roles prior to joining the Quillion Team. Annette currently lives in Baltimore County and is active with her church family. Annette serves as a mentor with Imagine Me Ministries of Baltimore for young inner city girls.
