David Brandeen had worked in the investment management industry since 1998. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy and his MBA in finance from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech. David served six years in the naval service, primarily as a naval aviator, and in a support role assigned to SEAL Team One.

After serving in the Navy, David spent several years as a government and telecom consultant for KPMG, Peat Marwick, and Bell Atlantic.

In 2023, David tragically passed away and was survived by his three children. The Quillion family will always remember his warm friendship and decorated career.
