Jeff is Principal and founder of Quillion Wealth Management, and the head of the executive management committee for the practice.

In this role, Jeff oversees employees and advisors who provide investment and wealth management strategies to individuals and businesses across the United States. With over 1 billion in client balances as of March 31, 2024, Quillion is among the largest businesses of its kind*. Its financial advisors consistently rank at or near the top of various annual industry-wide rankings.

In his wealth manager role, Jeff helps clients pursue their life goals through careful advice, astute investment management, and access to the global capabilities of Wells Fargo and Company to directly engage with Quillion’s most valued client relationships. Regularly recognized as a distinguished advisor and, most recently, by Forbes, as a 2024 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor, #12 by Advisor Hub as 2024 AdvisorHub Advisors to watch in America. Jeff has been named as a “Top Wealth Manager” by Five Star in Baltimore Magazine consistently from 2013 through 2024.

As both a financial service industry advocate and investor advocate, Jeff worked closely with Financial Services Institute and state senators to craft Financial Consumer Protection Act of 2019 by testifying to local congressional panel members regarding consumer protection rights.

Jeff began his career in 1997 with Merrill Lynch where he developed one of the firm’s most admired practices. After nearly 20 years, Jeff elected to create an independent practice focused simply on delivering unobstructed investment advice. Jeff maintains FINRA series 6,7,9, 66 Securities Registrations, as well as Maryland Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Jeff attended Calvert Hall High School (MD) and graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University (MD) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Richard J. Bolte School of Business where he captained the Mount’s Division I NCAA soccer program and played internationally with the Men’s Olympic Program.

Jeff and his firm are strongly committed to charity and community. He continues to serve the community through involvement with Calvert Hall Alumni, Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC), and Baltimore Armour Soccer Academy where he holds the National “D” License with US Soccer. Previously, Jeff worked as a board member on the Partnership Board of the United Way and served as a member of the Mount St. Mary’s University’s Presidential Council.

Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9.
